Picture of the day on October 8, 2016: View of the Laguna Verde (Spanish for "Green Lake"), a 1.7 square kilometres (0.66 sq mi) salt lake and endorheic basin in the southwestern Altiplano, Bolivia. The lake is located at the foot of the volcano Licancabur, in the Sur Lípez Province of the Potosí Department very close to the Chilean border.
